Light Amplification

Light amplification occurs when the sun reflects off certain surfaces and is directed into one spot on the SeaDek, potentially causing damage. When this happens under certain conditions, the SeaDek can be exposed to temperatures above its operational limit of 165 degrees F. Lighter colors can help reduce the light amplification problem. However, damage from light amplification is not covered under our standard warranty. Other material problems will still be covered
